Hello Wisdom Master Maticintin;

I wonder if you could please help me with a question that my daughter has asked me.  She watches a program on the Sci-Fi channel called John Edwards.  Mr. Edwards hears what loved ones on the other side are saying to his guests.  Cheary my daughter wonders how reincarnation fits into the scheme of things on the astral plane if all the relatives are on the other side conveying messages to John Edwards?  Now, from my understanding they the relatives are living their dream on the Astral and if one is reincarnated then he would have left a shell of himself behind in the Astral. and then all of these people have this person in their dream as they remember him?

It is confusing and it isn't, so I must have only a piece of it.  Could you please help me with this?

Much love to you.
Carolyn

Hello Carolyn

Keep in mind that life and death are merely flip sides of a coin. When one dies, therefore, they do not forget the living. Even after the one who dies reincarnates in another body, the memory body (astral or karmic body) maintains an energetic connection with those it had strong feelings toward or against in the previous life or lives. The astral body then contains a memory bank of all past, present and future. I include the future because those who connected with you in the past, or you them, are connected to you now and will remain so in the future, although your relationship can evolve, or de-evolve as you meet again to experience life situations in a new body and identity in association with them.

A Question about A Wisdom Teaching

“If someone on the street asks you for money, do not scrutinize them. If someone asks for something openly, there is usually a great need; so give it to them.” Winged Wolf

The above was an e-mail Wisdom Teaching that brought about quite a stir, arising questions in many of you that I’m happy to answer. Two such questions seem to encompass the general tone of all of them:

1. “What if I don’t have any money to give?”

2. “How about teenagers on the street asking for change? Should I give even though I know they are on drugs in most cases?”

Much of the difficulties in societies of the world results from poverty consciousness. There is the poverty consciousness of the person who has to ask for help, who is in need because they made choices that placed themselves in need, and in the most severe cases that person is a beggar. And there is also poverty consciousness that exists in the one who scrutinizes another person who is in need or asking for help, because whenever one is critical of another person, the point of their criticism usually originates in faultfinding within themselves. The faultfinding results in a comparison of their personal standards and the other person not meeting those standards. Jesus said, “Judge not lest ye be judged,” which literally means that when one judges another their spirit is impoverished by their lack of generosity.

Giving and receiving is the same thing. When one learns to give, they will receive. If, on the other hand, one cannot receive or feels uncomfortable in receiving, it is because they are not really givers. True givers give without pride or thinking themselves noble for the gift. They give from the heart and a true gift from the heart has no strings attached; it is freely given.

The HÜMÜH Invocation For A Happy Life mantra relates to the prosperity of the heart. It clarifies that giving and receiving should be equally at ease in a person, that giving is such a privilege that one’s reward is embedded in the joy that one receives from giving the gift, whether it be money or object. There are five laws that govern abundance:

1. Avoid Harming Others: By others is meant all sentient beings, and if for some reason harming another is unavoidable, never take pleasure in it. One must never make sport of injuring another life form, no matter how lowly one considers that life form to be. This law applies to mental, as well as the physical abuse of another. To live in this way means that one will know contentment, general good health, and physical comforts, including wealth.

2. See Yourself as Related to All Life Forms: To live in this way means that one will be free from vanity; that they will be trustworthy and honest, a good friend and marriage partner.

3. Make All Your Actions for The Good of The Whole: It is important to realize the effect of what one does upon the lives of others, and to do what one can in the moment to help another. To live in this way means that one will be kind, compassionate and divinely loving.

4. See The Results of Your Actions, Not As Self-Accomplishment, but Rather As An Attainment of Companion Energy With Another: No person is an island unto themselves; our energies intertwine and interconnect. All achievements are attained in this way. Living in this way means that one’s life is filled with the jewels of companionship and good times.

5. Leave Behind Judgment and Develop the Ability to Make Wise Distinctions Instead In this way one’s Wisdom Eye will open to realize that everything is fundamentally pure; that is, when there are no mind passions (anger, lust, greed, vanity and attachment), one enters into a state of spiritual abundance.

Abundance can replace poverty in one’s heart and set one’s life on a prosperous road through giving and receiving in the manner described. It is a small thing to give money to a beggar and yet, freely given, is a gift received.

Hello Wisdom Master Maticintin,

A question came up after I read the Transhistorical consciousness #7 (Transhistorical Openness).  We are all Soul...Soul being an extension of the Void/God.  The consciousness is always expanding and moving and growing.  So, as more people awakening to the Path/Teachings/Teacher...does not the Void grow stronger in all of us?  I know that the apprentices who started with you in the beginning have helped grow and shape HUMUH...and that they have made the Path clearer for those who follow after them.  Given that--how is it we are in a decline?  I understand this the end of a Kali-Yuga--but couldn't the growth of the teachings reverse the fear trends in society that is causing the current decline?  In the moment--the dream can change.  Can't it?  If enough people present joy and divine love and stay in the moment...then perhaps the end of the Kali-Yuga will be a happy time?

As always, your thoughts and insights are honored.

Great love as Soul,
Joan

Hello Joan

What you say is true but the perspective if off a bit. The part that is off is that it is not the "little self" part of the apprentice body that expands the ONE consciousness; therefore, it is not the apprentices who expand the Void or HÜMÜH, but that part of the apprentice that awakens to Its realization of the Divine Self. This is very difficult to put into ordinary terms; to define it in a way that says "the apprentices have evolved the Path" is not correct, only their oneness with the Three Jewels evolves the Path or expands the One consciousness. Unfortunately, there are few people in the world who are willing, also meaning ready, to awaken in consciousness. Those who are will lead the way for those who are not, but they are greatly outnumbered. There are more people incarnated at this time (Kali-Yuga) than at any other, but, unfortunately, the masses are at the low end of spiritual evolvement, which is witnessed in where people's attention is focused. Thus, there is decline. The good news is "decline" is imaged as a reflection of increase. In other words, decline can be likened to a lake at the foot of a mountain. While the lake is not the mountain, the lake contains its reflection and so this age/cycle continues into better times.

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

Does one who goes through the ascension, take their body with them, or do they just consciously go into the other worlds?

Thomas

Hello Thomas

Consider the body to be a lump of karma, fashioned by one's thoughts, deeds and actions of this lifetime and of previous lifetimes. It is therefore, an accumulation of manifested energy. While most of us, us meaning our consciousness,  simply vacate our bodies at death, there have been spiritual adepts who, for various reasons, have dissolved their body or reabsorbed their body into their consciousness. In some Buddhist texts this is referred to as the Rainbow Body. Often times, while the form of the body disappears, a tooth or a bone fragment will remain. Alana Spirit Changer, my Teacher, died in this way. The only remains I found of her was a fingernail and a few pieces of hair.

I am happy that you are ready to continue as an apprentice on the Path of HÜMÜH.

Hi Wisdom Master Maticintin,

I have a question. It is not an easy one for me even to formulate the question, but I will try.

Everything exists simultaneously. There are many worlds or dimensions occupying the same space. So, I am being Miyako in this particular world, and at the same time I am John, Susie, an ant, a whale, a dog, a bird, etc. in other worlds; however, I am only conscious of my life as Miyako.

I am becoming more aware of my own past lives and this means that I am starting to see myself in other worlds. And they are all connected. So what I do affects the rest of me in other worlds, whatever I am in those worlds, a human, an animal, a fish, an insect, etc.

If all of me exists right now, then there must be an already enlightened aspect or entity of Miyako somewhere, simultaneously. And that enlightened entity does not have karma, and all the other aspects of Miyako are the products of karma. Wouldn't it then mean that this enlightened aspect of me can wipe away all the karma and therefore there is no reason for the other aspects including Miyako (insects, animals, humans, etc.) to exist?

The fact that I exist seems to mean that it does not work quite like this. So none of my aspects of me has not yet attained enlightenment?

This thick fog must come from lifetime after lifetime of confusion. Please help.

Love and respect as Soul

Miyako

Hello Miyako

One can exist and attain enlightenment, or in other words, one can have karma and still attain enlightenment. Karma is what keeps us alive. To an enlightened person, it may be the karma of assisting others to attain enlightenment.  The fulfillment of all karma to an enlightened one is a choice then, and if the choice of fulfillment is made, then the enlightened one will enter nirvana to exist as one with the Transhistorical Consciousness. This existence is primordial and the aspects of karma that made it so are then used by those enlightened beings who continue to serve life.

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

I have a question pertaining to Buddhism that I cannot seem to find the answer to anywhere. The question is: Where did the idea or event of the third eye bringing enlightenment come from? If you have an answer, I would sincerely appreciate it. Thank you for you time.

Sincerely yours,
Melissa

Hello Melissa

The Third Eye is a physical instrument that the mind uses to focus upon to bring about a state or condition we call Third Eye Vision, which is a state of being that exists without mental chatter or talking to oneself in one's mind. Third Eye Vision is also referred to as the natural state or realized state, which can be likened to a generator that is left on standby. When thought energy or brain power is required, the generator is instantly engaged to bring about full power.

Scientists say that the average person uses about three percent of their brain power; mostly, this is because people's minds are cluttered with worries, concerns, attitudes, opinions, ideas and concepts, which makes for inefficiency and clutter, and it is the clutter that limits one's brain power. When one is able to live from the Third Eye center, the power of one's brain greatly increases as does their I.Q.; there is clarity instead of worry and confusion. I've written many articles on this subject and tapes are available also. If you are interested, someone at the office will make these titles available to you.

Back to your question: It is the state of sustained Third Eye Vision that brings about enlightenment. This occurs like peeling the layers of an onion; experience upon experience occurs as the attention shifts and re-focuses while the mind is emerged within the natural state. The existence of the Third Eye is primordial. It does not belong to Buddhist teachings although the teachings contain knowledge of it. Knowledge of the third eye is universal and it has many names: the god's eye, eye of wisdom, the all-seeing eye, etc. The American dollar bill has the all-seeing eye at the apex of a pyramid.

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

Here I am again with another question. Can you please explain the concept of God's will in terms of presentation? You have said when you live in the God Consciousness that you present your life. What I have seen is that there is a peace that some people experience from any tradition, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Native American, etc. when they walk in the presence of God all or at least nearly all the time. They live like lilies of the valley because as you show us there is no fear of yesterday or tomorrow when you walk in the presence of God.  In the Christian Mystic tradition which I am more familiar with than the Buddhist, mystics say that if you are walking in God's will, then anything that comes into your life is God's will and so can be accepted with peace knowing that God is in control.  I see that as an outward in control. When you explain presentation I see that as an inward out control. Christian Mystics say that if you must give up self will, which I equate with letting go of the little-self.  Is it then that by letting of the little-self (self will) what we experience and therefore present is God's will and not our own?

Thank you once again for your time and your wisdom.

Sheryl

Hello Sheryl,

As long as you place God outside of yourself, rather than seeing yourself as the Divine Consciousness as a part of God, you will live a victim's life. Please read my book Recognizing God and review your Wisdom Traveler Discourses. In them you will see that God does not exist outside of you, but within as the Divine Consciousness.

I hope you will attend the Empowerment in Kentucky. There you will find many answers.

Wisdom Master Maticintin

Hi Wisdom Master Maticintin,

I am Sheryl, a student in your Endless Knot course.  I have two questions.

1) The most important.  I recognize the sacredness of all life.  Last year a sewer pipe broke under my home and attracting oriental roaches. After the pipe was fixed the roaches began coming in my home.  They were every where and nothing I could do would remove them.  Energetically I told them they were welcome outside but not in.  I closed every entrance I could find.  Finally sadly I had the house exterminated and did a ceremony to honor the life of the roaches that died.

Still those who survived came in the house.  I put cedar under the sinks and bought a sonic anti-roach device.  It was nearing winter and they went away. Now it is spring and they are coming back.  I do not want to hire and exterminator but I and my children cannot live in a roach infested house.  Please give me advice.

2)  I wondered if you taped the information you presented at the encampment in April?  Is there anyway I can get that information?

Sheryl

Hello Sheryl,

You expressed sadness at having to injure the roaches that entered your house and pursued all the alternatives you could think of before resorting to drastic measures. You also respectfully blessed the creatures and wished them a happier, better life. In other words, you did the best you could under the circumstances. What you did seemed necessary and you did not enjoy the taking of life, so be at peace.

The second part of your question, asked for some type of transcript of the Empowerment. There will be a report on the highlights of the event in the newsletter that will be mailed to all Wisdom Travelers June 1st. Of course, this report cannot truly capture the event. You have to be there for that. I hope you will attend the Empowerment in Ohio, July 16-18 on the subject of "Deities: Instruments of Protective Power" and the one on becoming a Bodhisattva to be held near Mammoth Cave in Kentucky October 22-24. Now that you know the schedule ahead of time, perhaps you can work it out to be there.

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"Question 1: Out-of-the-body travel -- is that permitted?  I obviously do not enter another's space, that would be incorrect.  Mostly I use direct projection method when required.  At the empowerment I sat with you and a few others in a new temple (that has not been constructed -- it was in the future). It was beautiful.

"Question 2: Past lives -- I also am able to view some past lives of myself and others. I remember quite a few lives.  A few apprentices talked about past lives learned from mediums but no-one at the empowerment talked about connecting with their own past lives.  I don't really know how my technique works, I just do it.   Sometimes I see nothing.  I also realize (too late in some cases) that I cannot discuss these things in confidence with others."

Thank you,
Richard

Hello Richard,

"There are no taboos on the Path of the Divine Consciousness, except those that psychically or physically injure yourself or another sentient being. Out-of-the-body experiences that describe the oneness of the time continuum such as the one you described are a natural part of the human psyche. Being natural to the human psyche, they are not really phenomena but only seem that way because of the rarity of occurrences, which becomes more frequent as one progresses spiritually.

"The above also answers your second question about past life exploration. Of course, you will study this and other related subjects in greater depth in your monthly discourses as a Wisdom Traveler; however, briefly the memory of past lives comes into the foreground when a present instant resonates with a similarity from the past. This is when the light-bulb turns on in your mind and you say "Ah, HA! I see it now, " whatever it was."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"How is it that sitting in the silence helps resolve karma?"

Jim

Hello Jim,

"The practice of Sitting In the Silence or Effloresce Meditation resolves karma, first through the development of self-discipline, which makes it possible to practice. Secondly, as one develops an awareness of their mental activity, they can clearly see how fortune and misfortune come to them and, as a result, begin to give up what they do not want in life and, instead, accept those people, things and situations that they do want. This is what we refer to as impeccability. From this stance, one can live life wholeheartedly in concert with their choices.

"Furthermore, once this process is effected, there comes a clarity of mind whereby the spiritual faculty is gradually enlivened into a state we call Enlightenment."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"What are the basic elements that made the Christianity movement grow quickly and become so popular and powerful world wide and how does it differ from Buddhism."

James

Hello James,

"Like Buddhism, Christianity took more than a thousand years to become widespread as a teaching. It began with the emergence of The Teacher, carried on by disciples and then slipped into obscurity for a time before re-emerging to grow into a world teaching. The power of Buddhism was self-reliance, to awaken as the Divine Consciousness; whereas the power of Christianity was dependence upon the mercy of God for salvation. While Buddha died a natural death, Jesus Christ was murdered, hung on a cross after being tortured with the promise that he died for the sins of other people, to bring them salvation as a result of his death. His death caused much introspection and guilt, which bound the people to their shame and prayers for forgiveness to this son of God. Most people who practice Christianity claim Jesus as their savior. Buddha, too, is considered a savior, but not a savior to lean upon; rather an inspiration to those who want to attain Enlightenment.

"There you have the essence of two world saviors. Both lived as compassionate role models for divine love."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"My juice bar business is going quite well, however there is one thing that I can't quite seem to understand. Quite often people will come into my store in small rushes where a few moments before it may have been empty (sometimes for several hours). Now these people hadn't planned on meeting or are coming for the typical "lunch rush" which makes me scratch my head wondering "why now"? Why all of a sudden does this happen?

"Also, I've found that several (separate) people in the same day will order things that may not have been ordered for quite some time and it all of a sudden seems popular for either the rest of the day, week or month.

"I have found that the weather can sometimes do this as well. For example, sometimes after a cold spell, people want to get out and enjoy a little taste of summer and what better way than to enjoy a fresh juice or smoothie? That day I may be unusually busy however, sometimes I may not. (This is where my question truly lies). Why does this pattern happen sometimes and other times it just doesn't make any difference whether its hailing or a beautiful hot day? Who sets these desires or is it a desire that is being set?"

Humorously perplexed,

Gerry,  Canada

Hello Gerry,

"Of course there are rhythms to life and those you already have an inkling about, however, your question involves much more than that. The mass consciousness proceeds on the "hundredth monkey principle", which is what one person wants stimulates another person to wanting it too. Advertisers know this and plan advertising campaigns to get the "I want" ball rolling. Consistent advertising pays off as any market analyst knows. In other words, the more people think something, the more they will want it. Underlying this physical law principle, is the spiritual law of oneness, which returns us to the hundredth monkey principle again."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"I have recently been awakened and have been highly devoted to the path. Through great deals of suffering I have discovered my third eye. However I wonder if there is an aspect of my third eye that I may be missing. The sensation seems off centered to the right. I think (from previous readings) that I utilize my reasoning more so than my memory. I received this information from Eastern philosophy. When I place my attention on remember my left side of my brain seems to glow in correspondence with the right side. The right side seems very strong. This seems to coincide with my nature. I have always been gifted logically, however my memories throughout my life have been blurred.

"On a different note my path to truth has been rigorous. I don't really understand anyone else's path because I have only been presented with my own. I think of myself as being relatively young to have reached this level, because when I look around other college students seem to go about their daily lives knowing and accepting the fact that they will play this game called "life". I've realized that life is more than this. However I know that my next level must be purging myself of my little seed of evil (lust, anger, greed, envy). At one point I was fortunate enough to recognize that this is not me and was fully separated from the real me. However I was not able to expel it from me. Soon there after it had fused again with me, but I retained the knowledge that it was not a real part of me. More recently I was presented (call it luck or coincidence) with the idea from an Indian religion (not Hinduism) that I must empty myself in order to reach enlightenment. I try and feel it for a few minutes but there after I submit to the world. If there is anything that you could do to help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Even words of encouragement. I don't have anyone here to talk to about this and it seems that I might be a diamond in the ruff, or this is something that isn't discussed and everyone is going through it. Please help me."

Inquisitively yours,

M.M.

Hello M.M.

"It is true that we all walk our own path, that path is the our individual karmic path, however, unless you have exceptional mind passionless karma, your path cannot lead you to enlightenment; instead, it will lead you into deeper and deeper into the passions of mind (anger, lust, greed, vanity and attachment and their subtle forms). This is because you will convince yourself of being separate and different from all others, which is vanity, and because compassion and divine love are not your shields in the world, you will respond with frustration and combativeness (anger), as well as attachment to ideas, which perpetuate a vicious circle of negativism.

"You obviously are a person who seriously wants to learn.  I recommend that you decide upon a spiritual teacher whom you feel drawn to, and give yourself to that teacher to satisfy your spiritual quest for enlightenment. By giving yourself, I mean to study that teacher's teachings and to accept whatever personal advice you are given."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"Is David Hudson's description of superconductivity the same as the state of enlightenment you are teaching to your students?"

With Great Love
Gerry

Hello Gerry

"The question posed here on "superconductivity" is a very interesting one and I can see why your curiosity is peaked. Although the power written about by Dave Hudson exists and has existed long before science discovered it, it is a mindless power that in itself has no consciousness. To link this power with a human consciousness may heighten one's awareness somewhat but it certainly cannot erase or re-arrange one's karma, so it certainly cannot produce enlightenment. Real enlightenment comes about when the mind passions (subtle forms of anger, lust, greed, vanity and attachment) are subdued. In other words, when the karma that ignites one's mind passions is dissipated, enlightenment floods the consciousness; enlightenment as a flood means conscious light and clarity. It exists as Pure Mind, which in this sense, also means the Divine Self and It is conscious of Itself as all things.

"It sounds wonderful to use a gadget of superconductivity to bring about the enlightened state we speak of, but not feasible; however, a true spiritual teacher is a conduit of the enlightened state for anyone who cares to pursue it. The difference between the two, of course, is consciousness."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"I have a question regarding some of my reading.  Professionally, I am a practicing Clinical Social Worker.  I work mainly with children and adolescents.  As I study, I have been increasingly concerned that I am rationalizing around my belief that I am teaching my clients about their ability to think and free will.  Is psychotherapy manipulation and being in "other people's business"?

 Sincerely,

 D.L.

Hello D.L.:

"Psychotherapy is useful to a client if you allow the client to arrive at a conclusion for discovery through their work with you, rather than you manipulating them to some towards a particular conclusion. In other words, as a case worker, it is important for you to allow such sessions to flow naturally and easily. If, instead, you try to fulfill your own reason or rational belief through your work, you are then manipulating the result. I suggest you sign up for the Wisdom Eye Dialogues under the Transcendental Awareness Institute to learn about a more freeing process of mind."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"How do I know I am making a correct business decision or not?"

Thanks
Richard

Hello Richard,

"You really did not give much information to go on, so the answer I am going to give you is a generic one. To make a correct decision, you have to first know what you want to accomplish from the decision. If your decision and your goal are strongly related, most likely the outcome will be as you want it to be. The "rule of thumb" is don't plant an apple seed for an orange tree; instead, plant an orange seed. Of course all decisions should be sincerely directed towards what you want. Don't go out on a limb to show someone else you can do it."

Dear Wisdom Master Maticintin,

"I am unable to find a place of spiritual peace regarding the suffering of animals and children. The core of my being cannot accept the concept that starving children or abused animals have chosen this for themselves or that they are working off negative karma from a past life.

"Being your student (Transcendental Awareness Institute) has brought clarity to different aspects of my little-self that interfere with my relationships with others and has helped me to act with more compassion and with less judgment. The Teachings have also helped me in my work with animals. However, there is a deep sadness within, a restlessness that persists in my life regarding the question of suffering children and animals. How can I be joyful in the face of their pain?"

J.B. California

Hello J.B.,

"I certainly understand your feelings. The suffering of all sentient beings is very much my concern, as it also the concern of every human operating from the spiritualized consciousness. There is a great deal of suffering in life, all of which is brought about by fear, which in turn produces confusion, loneliness and a feeling of separateness, feelings that stem, not just from this lifetime, but from lifetimes past.

"The fish in the sea fear to be eaten by other fish; a slug recoils as a man tries to remove it from his garden; a bird races towards its nest at the sight of a larger predator bird to protect its young; human beings fear the loss of loved ones, of wealth, of poverty, of being rejected, of being inadequate, and the list goes on. All sentient beings - fish, bird, reptile, animal and human - young and old, suffer from the fear that holds them a prisoner of circumstances, until they evolve into living a life as the Divine Consciousness.

"Once a person realizes him/herself as the Divine Consciousness, he or she moves toward the God-Realized State of Consciousness. This benevolent state of consciousness begins a life of unconditional love and compassion, which has the power to ease the pain of those who are suffering, merely by its presence in the world. This, then, becomes the realized person's purpose. You are beginning towards this goal, which is why you care so much for others. Here is what you can do to alleviate your own distress over the pain of others, until you are prepared to truly assist others through your state of consciousness.

"Every day do some small service for someone. The best people to serve are those you dislike or feel in conflict with. If you see such a person struggling with a package, offer your assistance. By serving someone you feel against in this way, you will uplift yourself and, in some small way, heal your relationship with that person. This does not mean that should become friends in an intimate sense but friends in a universal sense.

"Another way to give service is to take a 50# sack of dog/cat food to the animal shelter; or give a few hours a week to working in a soup kitchen that provides food for the homeless; or sign on in the big sister or big brother program to nurture a child. There are many ways of giving and the more you give of yourself, the greater the joy you will experience."

My love recognizes you,

Wisdom Master Maticintin
