Wisdom Master Maticintin is a vessel of the Mind Treasure Teachings, gifted her by the Transhistorical Consciousness, meaning she attained enlightenment in another lifetime. The Wisdom Master also has a Doctorate in Logic and Buddhism and is the Founder and Spiritual Leader of HÜMÜH: Transcendental Buddhism, Path to Enlightenment. The Wisdom Master currently teaches at a variety of HÜMÜH Meditation Centers in the United States, as well as at HÜMÜH Monastery and Skycliffe Retreat Centre in British Columbia. She also travels and teaches at other locations in the United States, Canada, and, occasionally, abroad.

Wisdom Master Maticintin is a noted author with many books to her credit, among them a fresh, poetic rendering and commentary on The Heart Sutra, and The Golden Spiral: Handbook for Enlightenment. Recognized as being a Buddhist for more than 30 years, she is also widely known as the Shaman Winged Wolf.

While keeping up with a year-round Teaching schedule, the Wisdom Master maintains periods of solitude in between working with her students and takes time to be in companion energy with a herd of 50 wild deer, a horse named Spirit, a donkey called Pepe, and a romping red-haired Pomeranian named Dorje.

She brought forth HÜMÜH as a new Buddhist sect in 1992 as an expression of the highest Teachings culled from all Buddhism to address the Western body/mind connection. One of the manifestations of her dedication as a Teacher is the Home-Study program she has developed that enables students to work with her at a distance, as well as through on-site retreats and classes. The spiritual path of HÜMÜH began in the United States and has rapidly expanded into Canada, while developing membership in a variety of other countries.
